Boris wakes up in a new world. It's all glitchy looking. This environment is completely alien to him. He picks himself up off of the ground and starts to wander around. He views the area. It appears to be a city, an abandoned city, mind you. He looks around for any life. He sees something in the distance. A person? A thing... Whatever they are, he approaches them. "Hello?" Boris greets. "Hey," they applied. "You're not from here, I can tell." "Yeah. I don't know how I'm here," Boris states. "You glitched out of your existence and ended up in this existence." "Oh." "Welcome to the Glitchrea existence. My name's Chaysorin," he announced. "I'm Boris Rusakov."

about

Boris Rusakov (Борис Русаков) is a man of Russian lineage living in Michigan. During a slow night in Detroit, Boris was watching late-night television up in his apartment in a highrise building. All of a sudden the television lost its signal. A different broadcast bleeds through. Then the apartment's interior starts to fade out of existence. Boris stares in awe as his entire existence glitches out.

Rusakov wakes up to find himself in a world that is alien to him. He walks around, trying to find any sign of life, all while taking in the scenery. He discovers that he's in the ruins of a city named Detria; an alternate version of Detriot. He finds someone referred to by the name of Chaysorin. He explains to Boris that he has phased into a different existence, and has landed in the existence that Chaysorin is indigenous to. He also tells Boris how to get back to his existence. But first, Chaysorin has to explain to Rusakov how this existence works.

Chaysorin explains how his existence, the Glitchrea existence works. While there are many tribes and species, Zhalglitch and Glitchkin are the main tribes. After the previous Glitchlord had passed, the tribes have been torn on who the leader should be. While most of the smaller tribes are on the side of the Zhalglitch tribe on who should be the new Glitchlord, the Glitchkin tribe are the most powerful, and so they assume power. In order for Boris to return to his native existence, he must go to the castle of the fallen Glitchlord. On the way, however, he will face off the Glitchkin tribe. With Chaysorin, and with the friends he makes on the way, does he have what it takes to get to the castle and return to the existence where he belongs?

This project kind of spawned a new moniker for me. I'm not sure it will be featured on the "soundtrack" as a "collaborator." Look out for Меркурий Дымка Co. (or Mercury Haze Co.) It'll be a signalwave/broken transmission side project made for fun. There's no real big concept behind it, except that Меркурий Дымка Co. is a broadcasting company. Well, a fictional one, mind you.
