about

We found ourselves in this village named Falling Star. From what we could gather, this dimension is theme around the wild west era, if it was in modern day. We took a stop at a local saloon. The pratrons were welcoming for the most part. The bartender told us of how there was another strange group of outsiders like us that visited one day and had stopped an infamous outlaw by the name of Jones Hessa. We eventually found an entry from this strange group. The entry was written by someone named Davidson. We also found out that they also had someone named Ryan on their team, which is... awkward. We eventually discovered that that other Ryan's last name was Haxner, so we have a way to differentiate us. Good, because that would annoy me not.

-Ryan Senoaks. The cooler Ryan.

So, we found ourselves in a modern wild western village called Falling Stars. One of the first things we saw was a saloon. Knowing Kiwi, we were going to be going to that saloon. And you know what? I don't mind right now. I could go for a drink...

...While in the saloon, Extür, this small avian-like kid in our team, saw that there was a wanted bulletin board. Extür really likes wild west stuff, apparently. The bartender talked about this outlaw known as Jones Hessa. He's been causing problems lately in the town. So, naturally, we went after them. Well, Ryan [Haxner], Extür, Ino, Va, Shiina and I did. Kiwi, Ameridis, February, July, November, Bryan, Rock, Iapetus, and Rosemary, stayed behind. It didn't take us that long to find Hessa. He was snooping around in alleyways, as most outlaws do. He had a machine gun of all things. Didn't stop us from fighting. Extür did some time screwery and took Jones down surprisingly quick. The guy was going to go down quick, anyway. He was vastly outnumbered. It's a six-to-one battle. You may have a machine gun, but we have powers. Also, you know, it's kind of funny that we fought an outlaw in a wild west town. With all the stuff I stole to make my inter-dimensional shapeship, I'm a bit of an outlaw myself... M-Maybe I shouldn't be glorifying that.

-Davidson

I've been having a lot of ideas for Dimension Log albums as of late. I've been working on three different Dimension Log albums at once. I ended up focusing on this one because I knew I would get through it quick. And you know what? I really like the result. Sonically, it's a more positive album. Also, story wise, it's one of the more tamer ones.

This dimension originates from a Dimension Hoppers themed roleplay I've been doing with my close friend, James. (Known online as Mimikyu and Aipom. [He's a big fan of Pokémon.]) Because of how we do the roleplay, I had to change the lore for this album. I can't use characters that aren't originally ours, so I went with only the characters the we created from scratch. This is how the first iteration was like for Dimension Hoppers, actually. When Casper and I started doing Dimension Hoppers, we made our own characters, but we also used characters from different media as well. Obviously, I can't use said characters, so when I started writing the Dimension Hoppers novel, I had to make every character original.

The other two TDL albums are in the genres Hauntology, Vaporwave, and Progressive House??? I'm really excited for that one. For the ones that came here from my RonZak page, you may know that I have done a lot of Progressive House, EDM, and IDM material as RonZak. I want to see how well it translates to The Dimension Log. So, be on the lookout for those albums.
